Recommended Vivarium Size: A 10 gallon aquarium is suitable for 2-3 frogs.
 
Temperature: Range of 65 F to 80 F, but prefer temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Temperatures over 85 F are dangerous.
 
Humidity: Range of 70 – 100%, but can tolerate humidity down to 50% for short periods of time if the frogs have access to water. Low humidity levels, especially without access to water, can quickly be fatal.
 
Size: Adult male and female Vanzos are similar in size.  Fully grown the frogs will be approximately 1 inch in length. 
 
Life-Span: Vanzolinii are capable of living well over 10 years in captivity under ideal conditions, although a lifespan of 5-8 years is more common.
 
Feeding: Ranitomeya 'Vanzolinii' eat Drosphilia Melanogaster fruit flies along with springtails.  All feeder insects should be dusted with supplements.
 
Sexing: Raniomeya 'Vanzolinii'  females are wider than males.  Females will lay eggs frequently.  Finn's Frog Farms sells unsexed juvenile frogs, least three months out of the water.  
 
Color/Pattern: Vanzos are black with bright yellows spots.  They have light yellow lines on their legs. 
 
Social Behavior: These frogs do well housed in groups provided there is enough space.  Vanzos reach sexual maturity 5-8 months.  Finn's Frog Farm strongly recommends against housing different species/morphs of dart frogs. 
 
Breeding: Vanzos breed best in pairs.  They are an easy frog to breed.  The females will lay 2-6 eggs on a smooth surface (petri dish, film canister, bromeliad).
